Angels and Wildcats confirmed for 2024 Northern Junior League

Armadale Angels and West Lothian Wildcats have confirmed their places to represent the Monarchs in the 2024 Northern Junior League.

Stellar Monarchs are proud to offer youth the opportunity to flourish and this can be seen in the participation of two teams representing the club in the Northern Junior League - the Armadale Angels and the West Lothian Wildcats.

The Northern Junior League provides a platform for riders to taste competitive speedway racing as they progress towards securing a National Development League place, then continuing to the senior levels of racing.

Each team is made up of two 500cc riders and two 125cc riders, with three heats at each level comprising each 6 heat second half match.

Armadale Angels and West Lothian Wildcats will contest the 2024 Norther Junior League alongside Ashfield Giants, Workington Meteors and Redcar Cubs. Teams will race home and away against each other.

The starting line ups for the Angels and Wildcats have been confirmed as follows:

Angels: Dayle Wood (500cc), Owen Booth (500cc), Lewis Hague (125cc), Callum Hague (125cc).

Wildcats: Mark Parker (500cc), Lee Harrison (500cc), Liam Morris (125cc), Rocco Webb (125cc).

Callum Hague will become the latest rider to progress through Monarchs Speedway Academy to a Northern Junior League place when he lines up alongside older brother Lewis for the Angels.

Monarchs Speedway Academy will continue to go from strength to strength in 2024 with kids aged 5 and over invited to join up.

Regular sessions take place at Armadale Stadium on the mini-track. Kids with their own equipment can take part or those new to motorcycle sport can borrow equipment to try it out.

Experienced coaches take each session offering their support in a safe and friendly environment.
