It has been a busy weekend of British Youth Championship action with two rounds taking place and many podium places secured by Monarchs Speedway Academy riders.
The first round of the weekend took place at Belle Vue on Friday with 125cc and 250cc classes in action. This was followed by another round at Leicester on Saturday with all classes in action.
Rocco Webb enjoyed the most success of the weekend, taking third place in the 125cc class at both Belle Vue and Leicester.
Lewis Hague joined Rocco on the podium at Leicester, taking second place to finish the weekend on a happier note after a more difficult evening at Belle Vue the night before where he finished fifth.
Liam Morris lined up in the 250cc class, finishing 7th overall in both rounds including a great heat win in his last race at Leicester.
Lee Harrison contested the 500cc class at Leicester and enjoyed an excellent day, dropping just one point in the qualifying heats before finishing third in the final.
Callum Hague bounced back from a recent arm injury to take an impressive third place in the 125cc support class at Leicester.
Locally-based Rachel Hellowell rode well to finish second in the scoring in the qualifying heats of the Women's British Open Final before unfortunately tumbling in the final to finish fourth overall.
