Monarchs Speedway Academy is back on track for the 2025 season with kids taking part in training sessions on the mini-track at Armadale Stadium.

On Saturday afternoon under the watchful eye of coach David McAllan and his assistant Rocco Webb (now graduated from 125cc bikes onto 500cc), kids went through their paces on small size speedway bikes in another thoroughly enjoyable session.

Following the sad passing of previous MSA Co-ordinator Garry Dickson over the winter, there is an opening in this position with someone being sought to continue the great work that Garry has achieved.

The main tasks of this role are assisting to make arrangements for the sessions and communicating details of these to the young riders and their parents. Ideally the co-ordinator would then be present at most Saturday sessions (held roughly every other week) to welcome the kids along and ensure things run smoothly.

If this role may interest you then please get in touch here to find out more.

Sessions will continue throughout the summer and newcomers aged 5 to 15 are welcome to come along. If you are interested in trying out speedway then please get in touch here.
