Edinburgh Monarchs
Stellar Monarchs entered the second half of the season showing strong form on the road last week - the team now return to Armadale Stadium this Friday intent on pushing on.
The 2025 season continues with a run of home fixtures that will prove vital as Stellar Monarchs aim to assert their play off credentials, starting this Friday with the visit of highly fancied Redcar Bears.
Stellar Monarchs Co-Promoter John Campbell said, "It was great to be back in action last week with two away matches, including an excellent win at Oxford. We have a settled line up again and a really good spirit in the camp.
"The team is packed with quality and experience, we must take advantage of this and push on to achieve something special this season.
"That is what our supporters deserve and that is what we will aim to do. I am excited to see how the rest of the season will unfold.
"We must finish the season strongly - we have the team to do it. We can go all the way and that is what we intend to do."
This Friday's visit of Redcar Bears is set to be an enthralling encounter, with Monarchs looking to secure the Cab Direct Championship points on the night as well as hunting down a 10 point deficit for the aggregate point.
Campbell continued, "Friday has all the hallmarks of a fascinating match. Redcar are strong but I believe we can be stronger.
"Victor Palovaara's fantastic form this season has been recognised by the Swedish national team who have called him up for the European Team Championship in Poland on Saturday.
"Unfortunately it has proven impossible, despite Victor's best efforts, to get there before the sign on time if he rides at Armadale on Friday so Victor is forced to miss our match. We are grateful to Richard Lawson who will cover at number 1.
"We are forever thankful for the wonderful ongoing support of our fans. We know that the start of the season had a few bumps in the road in terms of results, but if you haven't been along in a few weeks then this Friday's match is definitely one to witness.
"A big crowd always spurs the team on and it would be great to hear lots of noise to cheer on the boys on Friday."
