Stellar Monarchs Academy take on the Steelers this Friday with the chance to win the league title still in the team's own hands - with a win essential, Friday is a match not to miss.
Through a prolonged break in home action, Stellar Monarchs Academy have performed strongly on the road to maintain a real chance of landing the 2025 WSRA National Development League title.
If the team win all their remaining three home matches and away at Belle Vue, and take all aggregate bonus points, then the Academy will be champions.
Stellar Monarchs Academy promoter John Campbell said, "It is a thrill to reach this stage of the season and have the opportunity in our own hands to win the league.
"The upcoming home matches are absolutely vital, depending on how other results go then even winning at home and taking the bonus points may be enough to be champions.
"We have a fantastic team, bolstered by Monarchs reserve Jordy Loftus who also lines up for the Academy side. We have a real chance and I know manager Scott Wilson has been motivating the team to make it a reality.
"WSRA National Development League racing offers some terrific action and I know a big Monarchs crowd will turn out in force and make plenty of noise to back the team the rest of the season."
Stellar Monarchs Academy host Scunthorpe/Sheffield Steelers this Friday at Armadale Stadium from 7:30pm.
