The 2026 WSRA National Development League fixture list has been revealed - find out when you can see the Monarchs Academy team in action.

The Academy will start their season with a home clash against last year's champions the Oxford Chargers - a 1st vs 2nd rematch from 2025 - on Friday 1st May.

The season then gets into full flow with a quickfire home-and-away double then follows against Middlesbrough Tigers, at Armadale Stadium on Friday 22nd May then away on Teesside on Saturday 23rd May.

The full Academy fixture list is:

• Friday 1st May - Academy vs Oxford Chargers.
• Friday 22nd May - Academy vs Middlesbrough Tigers
• Saturday 23rd May - Middlesbrough Tigers vs Academy
• Sunday 14th June - Buxton Bulls vs Academy
• Friday 19th June - Academy vs Buxton Bulls
• Wednesday 15th July - Oxford Chargers vs Academy
• Friday 17th July - Academy vs King's Lynn Young Stars.
• Thursday 6th August - King's Lynn Young Stars vs Academy
• Friday 11th September - Academy vs Leicester Lion Cubs
• Sunday 13th September - Leicester Lions Cubs vs Academy

Academy at Season Launch Show

Monarchs Academy team will feature at the 2026 Season Launch Show on Friday 27th March at Napier University, Craiglockhart, Edinburgh.

Doors open at 6:30pm, with the show getting underway at 7:30pm.
