The wait is over - we're back at Armadale this Friday night! There's nothing like the excitement of the start of the speedway season - find out all the info ahead of Friday's first match.

The first home match of the season sees the Monarchs take on the Berwick Bandits in the BSN Series, with the first points of the campaign up for grabs. Tapes up at 7:30pm.

It's a familiar-looking Monarchs side to start the year, with five of the 2025 team returning - joined by new faces Dan Thompson and Mitch Cluff.

Dan arrives in great form after winning the Ben Fund Bonanza at Glasgow last weekend, and will lead the side as the season gets underway.

Berwick will provide a tough test, led by Peter Kildemand and Nick Morris, and featuring former Monarchs Victor Palovaara and Lasse Fredriksen, who will no doubt be keen to put in a strong performance on their return to Armadale.
