Air Fence Assistance
The Track Team are seeking assistance to reinstate the air fence from winter storage at Armadale Stadium tomorrow (Wednesday 23rd March). The Team will be there from 8.30am and the task should be complete by early afternoon. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Speedway at the Show
Scottish Speedway is well represented with a great show of bikes at the Scottish Motorcycle show which is being staged at the Royal Highland Centre, Ingliston this weekend. It’s possible to pay at the gate, £18, with Under-12s free. Brian Collins will be manning the stall along with other enthusiasts, and Ronnie Anderson tells us there are 7 speedway bikes on our stand. You can look at the bikes, maybe even sit on them, and youngsters can ask about the Monarchs Academy.

Funeral details for Alistair
Ross Brady has given us details of his dad Alistair's Funeral. This will be at 3pm on Monday 21st March at Livingston Crematorium, and thereafter at Pumpherston Golf Club. Alistair was a Monarch in 1969, and was also a Coatbridge Tiger, Berwick Bandit and Newtongrange Saint.

Alistair Brady is a sad loss
Our sympathies are with the Brady family and friends today on hearing the sad news that Alistair has passed away at the age of 73. We've known him since his own speedway career started in the late sixties with the Coatbridge Monarchs, and more recently as the regular mechanic for Matthew Wethers, who of course became a member of the Brady family.

It's a happy 28th birthday today (Friday) to the new Monarchs' signing Michele 'Paco' Castagna, looking forward to the next stage in his career at Armadale in 2022. We asked him the obvious question – is he happy to be coming to ride for the Monarchs?
