After winning two national trophies in the last five days the Border Roofing Monarchs are aiming for a third at Armadale this evening, but it won't be easy.

The Border Roofing Monarchs will again go into action without the injured Kevin Wolbert. Kevin has still not recovered sufficiently from his horrendous crash in Germany last Saturday to gain clearance to resume from doctors in his home country. Rider replacement will again cover for him. Max Clegg, who rode for Cradley on Wednesday night, reports no reaction to that and will be in the team.

Somerset Rebels arrive at Armadale this evening looking to defend the eight point lead they built up at the Oak Tree Arena on Tuesday. They arrive with a full team and are, perhaps, strengthened since the first leg as new averages in October take Rasmus Jensen to reserve. However, it is maybe balanced by the fact that the Rebels top scorer on their last two visits, Paul Starke, moves into the main body of the team.

The online pre sale of tickets for this match is the second biggest ever, only exceeded by last week's match, and that suggests another big crowd in support of the Border Roofing Monarchs. We are also aware that a number of Somerset fans will be making the trip.

It's another fine day for speedway at Armadale with the sun set to shine until darkness falls just before start time.

Tickets remain on sale online but it is possible to pay at the admission gates which open at 6.30pm.
