We head west this evening to begin the defence of our League Champions crown with the First Leg of the League Championship Play Off Final taking place at Ashfield at 7.30pm.

We are at full strength for the meeting and the Tigers will use rider replacement for Kauko Nieminen. That shouldn't be a disadvantage to them at all.

The target tonight? Any kind of win for the Border Roofing Monarchs would be a tremendous result and relieve a great deal of pressure from the return at Armadale on Saturday. Previous performance this season would suggest that being a possibilitybut, realistically, a defeat by six to eight point would still give us a great chance of finishing the job on Saturday.

They have the first race planned to start at 7.30pm at Ashfield with various pre meeting attractions taking place.

Pre match day discounted tickets for the return leg at Armadale on Saturday remain on sale until 4.00pm on Friday although it will still be possible to buy tickets online, at full price, thereafter. It will also be possible to purchase tickets at the gate on Saturday.
