The 2024 speedway season is coming up fast with just six weeks to go until opening night!

Stellar Monarchs will be in action for the first time for the 2024 season in a thrilling Scottish derby opening encounter against Glasgow Tigers on Friday 5th April from 7:30pm at Armadale Stadium.

Co-Promoter of the Stellar Monarchs, John Campbell is looking forward to the season ahead, "It is always an exciting time of year as the season gets closer and closer.

"Throughout the winter we have been making plans and part of the excitement is seeing these come together in time for opening night.

"We have an extremely positive outlook as we head into the new season and we will be working hard to bring our wonderful supporters along with us on this journey.

"I believe both the Stellar Monarchs and Stellar Monarchs Academy teams are looking great and I can't wait for the racing to get started."

2024 Season Launch Show

The on-track action may be six weeks away, but in only five weeks you can meet the 2024 Stellar Monarchs and Stellar Monarchs Academy sides at the Season Launch Show.

Presenters John McGillivray and Liam Rudden will whet your appetite ahead of the new season as they welcome riders of both the Monarchs and Monarchs Academy teams to share their hopes and ambitions for 2024.

The show will take place at Napier University, Craiglockhart on Friday 29th March from 7:30pm. Doors open 6:45pm. Tickets are just £8, with special prices available for Gold Members and Blue Reward Card holders. Tickets are now on sale here.

Gold Memberships

Gold Membership renewals and new member sign ups have been going terrifically strongly for 2024. New Gold Membership cards will be available for collection for members attending the Season Launch Show or will be posted out immediately after this to anyone that cannot make the show.

Camera operator sought

EMTV are seeking a new camera operator for the upcoming season to control one of the cameras which follows the race action. Any experience is welcomed but not necessary as training will be offered. All equipment is provided.

Highlights Show - Part 2

A tremendous turnout enjoyed Part 2 of the 2023 Highlights Show hosted for the first time in a different room at Napier Craiglockhart. All feedback on the room is welcomed through the usual contact channels.

It was a great reminder of some of the excellent racing last season, as well as some stand out performances. More of the same in 2024!

Working parties

To get Armadale Stadium spick and span for the new season there will be a series of Saturday working parties taking place throughout March from 9am each Saturday into the afternoon.

All help is greatly appreciated. No experience is required, just bring some warm old clothes to wear. All tools and materials are provided.

Stellar Monarchs racesuit and Academy racejacket sponsorship

A big thank you to all who supported the racesuit and racejackets sponsorship packages. They are now in production and both teams will be looking terrific on track this season.

Final reductions on few remaining items

The 2024 Monarchs clothing range is in production with a fresh new look for the new season but there is still time to bag a bargain from the 2023 range.

First aid training course

Many thanks to the new volunteers that came forward to join the existing members of the fantastic Monarchs first aid team.

The training has been successfully completed, alongside many refreshing their current qualification, which will boost the team in 2024.
