Sad news this morning is that well know supporter George Mason has died. George, who was 88, had been ill recently and the news was not unexpected, but still comes as a shock.

It has been a regular pattern at Armadale this season. Dry weather in the morning gradually turns to cloud and then rain and that what's happened again this week causing the postponement of tonight's Premier League match between the Border Roofing Monarchs and the Somerset Rebels.

It has been confirmed that Ryan Fisher has a broken metatarsal bone in his left foot which will rule him out of matches for the immediate future, a big blow for the Border Roofing Monarchs. The injury was sustained in heat 14 at Somerset.

The Border Roofing Monarchs were well beaten tonight by 57-35 at the Oak Tree Arena by Somerset Rebels, who went back to the top of the league with the 3 points gained.
